Lurchis Abenteuer - lustige Salamandergeschichten 88. Folge (Grade: 0-1)
The fire salamander Lurchi is a comic figure used for advertising purposes by the German shoe manufacturer Salamander in Kornwestheim. The booklets are designed for children of primary school age, written in cursive script and written in rhyming couplets throughout up to issue 129. From this issue onwards, Salamander used a simplified text. Since 1937 Lurchi has been designed by changing illustrators and copywriters. From 1979 to 1994, the illustrator Peter Krisp (pseudonym "piiit") produced 34 issues and an unpublished parody.
