Dr. Reed Richards becomes Mr. Fantastic. He is suddenly extremely elastic and can stretch for several hundred meters. Susan Storm attains the ability to make herself invisible and thus becomes Invisible Girl. Her younger brother Johnny can control the fire as a human torch. Therefore his name is "Human Torch". And Ben Grimm develops the ability to transform himself into "The Thing", a gigantic muscleman made of stone. Together they are the "Fantastic Four" and must defend the world against the fifth in the group, the unscrupulous scientist Dr. Doom, who, unlike the others, uses his powers for evil....
